Joint Project

JOINT FORCES

CEFC isn’t just a project, it is also a partnership between many stakeholders in China and Europe who want to achieve a more sustainable future. It is a pilot project under the EU-China Partnership on Urbanization launched in 2012 by Chinese and EU leaders.

Thanks to the support of Shenzhen Mayor Xu Qin, the CEFC Project is realized in Longgang District of Shenzhen, with the ground breaking ceremony taking place in June 17th, 2016. The project developer, Huan De Group, which is the development brand of Tucher Group for Chinese projects, will work closely with its European partners in relevant sectors to develop this project into a sustainable city as well as a regional commercial hub, combining industrial, production, commercial and residential areas based on eco-friendly design.
